FREE FAMILY CONCERT

The Cook Foundation and the Gloucester Main Street Association will host a FREE family concert – the Virginia Symphony Under the Stars on Saturday, May 15th at 8:00PM on the lawn on Main Street off of Walter Reed Way. This year’s theme will be “Singing and Dancing Around the World” and will feature guest conductor Ben Loeb and guest vocalist Amanda Batcher. This May is military appreciation month and the Symphony will conclude its presentation with a familiar military arrangement by John Phillip Sousa.

The public is encouraged to bring a lawn chair or blanket.

Parking will be available along Main Street and in Gloucester County Government parking lots.

Special needs parking will be available at Newington Baptist Church & St. Therese by permit only.

***Road closures will be in effect from 7:00PM – 10:00PM on Rte. 17 Bypass / Main Street on the corner of Rte. 17 at Newington Baptist Church to Belroi Road to facilitate the concert.
