Pumpkin Walk 2009

Pumpkin Decorating Contest

The Cook Foundation held their first annual pumpkin decorating contest on Saturday, October 31st. In our inaugural year there were 32 entries! There were three different ways to enter: as a business, individual / family, or as a club / organization. In each contest there were four categories: Most Original, Most Scary, Most Beautiful and Most Funny. The winners in the business category were: Most Funny: Gloucester County Sheriff’s Department, Most Scary: Puller Center, Most Original: Gloucester County Sheriff’s Office, Most Beautiful: Twice Told Tales. Winners from the Individual / family category are as follows: Most Scary: Bob Arey, Most Beautiful: Shaun Mason, Most Funny: Sarah Clarke, Most Original: Peyton Tawny. Our big winner from the club / organization category was awarded to the Friends of the Puller Center for the version of “Hear no Evil, Speak no Evil, See no Evil” in the Most Original category. We hope to see all of you again next year!
