The Cook Foundation is set to kick off its annual photography contest: Picture My World on January 15, 2010. This year’s theme is “My World Is Unique”. The winter season, the first of four seasons, will last until March 29th. This year there are two separate contests: digital & disposable. Entry fee for both contests is $15 and prizes will be awarded for each contest. First place will receive $250. Cash prizes will also be awarded for second through fifth places. At the end of all four seasons, there will be one grand prize awarded: a dinner for two at Gloucester’s own Warner Hall. Entry forms are available at www.cookfoundation.info, various Main Street businesses or by calling Jen Christman @ 695-0700. The contest is open to all Gloucester residents. Break out the cameras and show us why you think your world is unique. Presented by the Cook Foundation.
